Find out more today I will show you a fun classy way to make your game that's more interesting for you and your dog know you guys know I'm always telling you the importance of exercising your dog in my favorite way to exercise dogs is in the form that's the great thing about adding new dimensions to the game that's your dog is that you're increasing your communication, which ultimately leads to a better relationship with our dog today were at the park with my dog alpha Centauri and we are going to go over some really fun ways to make Frisbee training and fetch a lot more interesting a lot more fun.

You might notice that alpha Centauri is wearing his whistle activity monitor.

We like to keep our dogs on a regular exercise regimen and the great thing about the whistle is that you can monitor with meticulous detail exactly how much activity.

Your dog is getting you to connect the whistle activity monitor to your Wi-Fi network you can put notes on the app you communicate with other members of the family and back up to six members of your family can access the app to monitor one dog.

So if someone reads the dog and then someone else returns home. You have all that information right there in front of you.

For those of you that take your dogs to doggy daycare. For example, this is a good way to see how much exercise they're getting a war if you're having a dog walker come over to let them out.

This came in particularly handy. Recently, when I was in Atlanta and my girlfriend Bree was holding the camera right now was actually playing without fun the other dogs.

I was able to see how much exercise they were getting and I wasn't even there. The whistle gets over 10 days of battery life and then when you have to charge it only takes about an hour to recharge.

Even if your dogs like to get a little wet in the water. It's waterproof I just got this notification we see that this is one of the things that pleasantly surprise me when I first got it, is that you get the spontaneous interesting update.

So for example when your dog reaches their goal. You'll get notified of that.

I'll have a link in the description below or you can learn more but I genuinely believe that you guys will really like this product.

If you watch my videos for any length of time at all you'll know that I'm always recommending that's not only for your dogs happiness and well-being but to dramatically reduce unwanted behaviors like barking, chewing, jumping, lease pulling in more we, people, have this weird thing about thinking that fetch needs to be done with one soy at a time, but actually after you taught your dog basic that you're then ready to move on to the next level and do some more exciting, more advanced stuff to them to show you the teacher dog to catch multiple Frisbees out of time to increase their interest in the game and make it more exciting for both of you have a couple of videos in the description one video will be how to get your dog interested in Frisbee.

The other video will be how to get your dog to learn a polished fluid fetch and I'll show you how to overcome common problems like getting your dog to let go.

When you ask, avoiding the game that's turning into an all-out game of people way instead of in many other common issues you might be encountering.

The first thing we want to do is make sure your dog knows how to catch a frisbee up close like that, of course, make sure they know how to let go.

You want to really get this down with one Frisbee first so it should look something like this ready To let go. You might notice that alpha Centauri and I are very close to one another.

Right now when you're doing this with your dog at home. Remember it's a lot easier for your dog to absorb new concepts when you're very close to them.

Now the little bit later on this lesson, I'm to show you how to start incorporating distance on the same concept once you're at the point where a dog is catching the Frisbee and letting go immediately. The next step is to teach them to catch more than one Frisbee.

Now it's normal for a lot of dogs really fixate on the one disc that you're playing with your goal here is to get them interested in two different Frisbees, but within the same game of fetch are you with me.

Sometimes when Frisbee appeared really get their attention on this one and off of the one you just through catch it a good go, good boy, nice and doesn't worry about looking smoother anything right now you're just trying to get a very rough draft of the game.

So catch it. Let go look at that beautiful thing about teaching multiple segments like this with his Biafra Frisbee is your teaching your dog how to really hone in on you really pay attention to you, that's wonderful for communication and that's great for building a fantastic relationship with your dog.

Now you're ready to start getting fancy with things. You get a whole stack of Frisbees to see how I haven't kind of up like this and kind of off to one side that so you can grab them with one hand and throw from the bottom so you can throw them in rapid succession to your dog start in slow motion.

Don't go too fast for your dog. Remember this is a new concept certainly catch it to get their attention on this disc and then throw that one wacko good attention over here.

Good, let go see this good let go. A very good job he's doing fantastic now looking to pick up the pace here will get us even do a little bit faster.

I like to get the dog in a good position that'll vary from person to person catch good let go.

That said, avoid the amateur mistake of doing things in the same order all of the time because then that's going to just teach them to anticipate and then when you want to mix things up can be a lot more challenging.

This is a nice little game I like to do that you can try and teach your dog as well so it goes something like catch it.

Let go Let go, leave it to leave it catching your teaching your dog to look to you are not anticipate so easily. There's a fine line between confusing your dog in the beginning and keeping them sharp.

You'll have to find that balance with your individual dog. This encourages your dog to be sharpened really thinking about the next thing that's ahead of them.

You start close and gradually increased distance with almost all types of dog training. So what your dog is doing really well-catching Frisbees in rapid succession, and you're starting to increase the distance a little bit then time started doing a more fancy pattern.

You might find it easier, in the beginning, to get low on the ground like this to you because you're more eye level with your dog. So it really promotes communication.

In this case will grow left and right and that will encourage him to ship directions under try different pattern right now that I actually haven't taught alpha Centauri and that's how to not anticipate going back and forth like this but rather going in a circle like this all the way around able to run to catch it well.

Let go stay this way. That's okay this way. Good this way. Go there we go let go this way yeah good and this way so I hit on the Frisbee.

That's kinda secure your dog to let them know. Hey, get ready ones coming your way. Remember this is not something you typically teach in one session.

It can be anywhere between a few days in a few months to pending on a huge variety of factors, but a general rule of thumb is the more your dog likes to play frisbee, the quicker the going to learn this concept.
